Nada - Timeless World Fusion
Nada - Performance oriented, timeless - world fusion ensemble - Seeking Musicians This ensemble will perform music from around the globe and accross the centuries. Initially, the focus will be on the development of repertoire and will begin with original arrangements of 15th century Sephardic (Spanish-Jewish) music - eventually integrating original music and traditional songs from various cultures while maintaining a distinctive world fusion oriented sound.
Specifically seeking musicians with any of the following instrumental aptitudes:
- Bass, electric, acoustic, upright
- Guitar, Oud, Lute, Mandolin
Competence with other instruments (voice, percussion, violin, viola, cello, flute, piano, etc) is a plus. Familiarity with world music traditions (Spanish/Flamenco, Latin/Afro-cuban, Eastern European, Mediteranean, Indian, Arabic, jazz) is strongly desired. Strong improvisational skills are also more than welcome.
